The main key to building up your coinage bank is knowing who to sell to and when.
1. Do not sell to those walk up visitors unless a Visitor event is going on or you can grow the items in your fields.
2. Do not fill truck orders unless there is a event for truck orders or you need to make space in your barn fast. (Note) Does not apply if you are doing a derby task for them, but it's best to have the order board orders ready before selecting a truck order task. Also having the truck order board orders all fill-able and your barn full, helps with getting free diamonds for the Turbo trucker achievement.
3. Do not rush a boat order if a boat event is not going on at the time. Do fill the orders asap for point valves, but shop for items in the newspaper and use Tom to get items you do not have. Be sure that you look and see what items are on the next boat order when you send off a boat. (Note) The next boat does not arrive after the clock runs out, if you are not playing. The boat will not arrive til you return to play on your farm. You can also leave your game open on the fishing hole, where you can build-up lures there. This holds off the boat and train arrivals at the same time, as you increase the lures you have for fishing..
4. Towns people do not have to be served right away, so if you are low on items. You may wish to wait to serve them. But remember to shop for deals of items they need and serve them to reach next level in town. (Note) The next train does not arrive after the clock runs out, without you visiting the town.
5. At your end of day of play plant the highest valve plants in all your fields for RSS sell when you return to play. Strawberries for example sell for 504 per 10 and grow in 8 hours.
I find the best time to get level up points and coinage is during a truck event. If you keep track of pass events you can pretty much guess when a truck event is going to be next. When a truck event is going on shop the newspaper for the items you need to fill the truck orders. Every Wednesday I start to get my barn and fishing lures ready for the next event coming the next day. If I think it's going to be a truck event I make sure that the current truck order request can all be filled. Having your barn full of items every Thursday also helps if a boat event happens. But the time between the boats slows down to speed of making coinage and level up points. So the truck events are the best time to go for coinage and level up points. If a truck order is to greedy just trash it and a new order will replace that order in 30 mins.
